The Mr Ugly competition is coming to South Africa.
The contest will take place in March at the Library Gardens in Limpopo.
The winner will get a R3 500 tablet and airtime vouchers worth R200. The Mr World Ugly pageant is due to be held in Zimbabwe in 2017.
DJ Kiasto told Daily Sun the pageant is being held to help Limpopo’s disadvantaged. “The door money will be donated to orphanages and old-age homes,” he said.
Kiasto said there will be performances by different artists.
He said the runner-up would go home with a tablet worth R2 500 and an airtime voucher for R150.
Kiasto asked people who might qualify to enter the competition. They should send a head-and-shoulder photo of themselves to INFO@MAXISKYMEDIA.COM.
“Interested candidates are informed that entries for the Mr Ugly competition will be accepted in January.”
