11 People Killed In KwaMakhutha Shooting As Gunmen Open Fire At House Party
Eleven people were killed after three gunmen opened fire on a group gathered at a house in KwaMakhutha, south of Durban, on Tuesday night.
Ten of the victims died at the scene, while another succumbed to their injuries after being taken to hospital. Three other people survived the shooting with injuries.

Gunmen Storm House Party
According to police, 13 men and one woman were inside the house in the Ziko area when the attackers arrived and began shooting.
The suspects were reportedly armed with pistols and rifles before fleeing the scene.
The woman, who police believe was pregnant, was among those killed.

Police Launch Manhunt
Police have launched a manhunt for the three suspects as investigators work to establish what led to the attack.
Acting National Police Commissioner Puleng Dimpane said investigators were following what she described as a “promising lead” in the search for the gunmen.
The motive has not yet been established.
Police said some of those who were at the gathering had previously come to the attention of Crime Intelligence in connection with alleged illegal activities. However, no further details were provided.
Investigators have not ruled out the possibility that the shooting was linked to a feud between rival groups.
Victim’s Car Set Alight
A vehicle belonging to one of the victims was reportedly set on fire before the attackers left the area.
Local television reporter eNCA showed images from the scene of the burnt-out vehicle.
The shooting has left investigators with several questions to answer as the search for the suspects continues.
