Actors Nolwazi Shange and Mzwandile Ngubeni Divorce After 13 Years
Fans of actors Nolwazi Shange and Mzwandile Ngubeni are in shock that the couple is going through a divorce after 13 years together.
The two, once considered the epitome of marriage goals, have now chosen to live separate lives. Nolwazi Shange confirmed the divorce in a conversation with ZiMoja.

Nolwazi Shange Reveals Final Stages of Divorce and Hints At Reasons
Nolwazi Shange expressed her sadness but also revealed that they are in the final stages of the divorce proceedings.
“It’s sad but yes we have gone our separate ways. We are in the final stages of the divorce,” she said.
Signs of trouble emerged earlier when Nolwazi reverted to her maiden surname on social media. However, despite the separation, she holds no animosity toward her soon-to-be ex-husband, refraining from divulging the specifics behind their decision to divorce saying,
“We have been together for 13 years with children and we came to the decision together to separate amicably. I mean this is a person I once loved and cared deeply for. I would never want to go into detail about what happened and paint him in a bad light. I always want him to be great and do well and hopefully one day, he finds love again and for me to move on.”
Rebuilding and Reflection
Shange, an accomplished South African Film and Television Award winner, is now focusing on rebuilding her life. She emphasized her dedication to prioritizing her family, children, and soon-to-be ex-husband. As the divorce nears its completion, she spoke about her process of healing, saying,
“I will always put my family first, my children, him, and protect what is close to me. With the divorce almost final, I am rebuilding. I have had time to cry. I have not completely healed but I am getting there. I am in a good place. I have support from family. My job now is never to shame him but to always protect his reputation and what is mine.”
The former Scandal! actress and Ngubeni tied the knot in 2016 and welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Ntsika, a year later.
