At the time Pabi Cooper wanted to know what qualification she would need to have to land a gig as a sports presenter. The message read:

Hey Lindiwe, I’m sorry to drop in unannounced.

Can I ask a quick question?

My name is Paballo Mothapo . I love sports, | play soccer, and I’m a head of sports in my school (currently doing matric ). I’m also passionate about Sports presenting & next year I considered doing Sports communication at University of Johannesburg So my question is , will a degree in sports communication help me to be in the field of presenting in sports?

Fortunately for Pabi, Lindiwe responded by sending her a voice note which we believe was enough to guide her to her current role at SABC 1.

In other news, Pabi Cooper born Paballo Mothapo joined forces with one of South Africa’s most loved antiperspirant deodorant brands, Shield, as their new brand ambassador.
