While recounting the ordeal, he humorously referenced rumours claiming Diddy had poisoned him.
According to IOL, he dismissed the rumours stating that he left P Diddy’s parties early.
“The internet said Puffy was trying to kill me, that’s what the internet was saying. I know what you thinking, ‘Diddy? (Did he?)’ Hell no, I left them parties early. I was out by 9, something don’t look right. It’s slippery in here.”
Origin of the Poisoning Allegations
The theory gained traction after producer and director Choke No Joke alleged during an interview with Comedy Hype that Foxx had confided in him about being poisoned by Diddy. These claims were later amplified by podcast host Joe Rogan on The Joe Rogan Experience. Rogan speculated that Diddy might have been involved and linked the situation to “convenient deaths” of others allegedly associated with him.
“Jamie Foxx just recently said that P. Diddy poisoned him and that’s why he got that stroke … Diddy wasn’t even that big. It was murders … There’s alleged murders.
“There’s a bunch of people that got pneumonia, a bunch of convenient people that died of pneumonia,“ Rogan stated.
