Only days after actress Kgomotso Christopher said goodbye to popular SABC 3 soapie Isidingo‚ it has been confirmed to TMG Entertainment that the show will be receiving another talent in the form of Anga Makubalo.
Both the soapie and Anga’s management have confirmed that the actor has joined the cast of Isidingo and is already filming episodes for the show.
It’s understood that Anga‚ who also has a successful music career as NaakMusiQ‚ has secured a major role on the soapie and will make his debut next month. He will play the role of a young miner by the name of Obakeng.
“The character is amazing and I am really glad that Isidingo has chosen me. I feel I’m a hard worker and the show’s producers have seen that. I’m excited to join the cast and‚ honestly‚ I’m having so much fun at the moment‚” Anga says of his new role.
Anga is perhaps best known for his role as MJ on Generations and as one of the 16 actors fired by the show in late 2014.
He recently made his debut on Mzansi Magic’s iGazi‚ while still holding a role on e.tv’s drama series Z’bondiwe. As a musician‚ he is also currently working on his debut album. Despite his heavy work load‚ he has assured fans that they can look forward to seeing him at his best and most energetic in his new role.
