Are Somizi and Vusi Nova just friends?

Twitter streets have been set abuzz following yesterday’s performance at the SA Idols finale by Somizi and Vusi.
The pair delivered a sterling performance but many have been left in awe wondering if Somizi and Vusi are just friends.
Over the past weeks Somizi has been seen hanging out with his bestie and he seems not to be moved by what people are saying.
Prior to the finale, Somizi posted a picture with him and Vusi, with the caption,
“me and bestie on stage tonight @IdolsSA I love this man shemmmmm……..”
Somizi who recently got married to media personality, Mohale, has come out many a times in defense of his marriage citing it’s solid as a rock.
However, Zama was voted this year’s winner of Season 16 of Idols SA. Zama bagged R1 million, a recording deal from Kalawa Jazmee, R150 000 worth of the latest Samsung products, the all-new Toyota Starlet 1.4, R100 000 worth of fashion from Truworths, a Kymco Xciting 400 scooter worth R120 000 and R80 000 worth of musical instruments from Yamaha.
“Thank you so so much South Africa. I feel so blessed, I can’t believe this is happening. Thank you so much for your support, all your love and all your beautiful messages and for keeping me strong guys, God bless each and everyone of you. I can’t believe this,” said Zama.
Ten months ago, Witbank-born Zama took the leap to audition after encouragement from her loved ones, despite her shy demeanour.
In addition, runner-up Mr Music walked away with R50 000 in cash from Samsung, along with some of the latest Samsung products, R50 000 in cash in an Old Mutual Money account and R50 000 worth of fashion from Truworths.
The hunt will soon be on for the 17th Idol but with one significant change due to the currentCOVID-19 pandemic as all auditions will be held online.
