Babes Wodumo Only Learned Of Mampintsha’s Death On Social Media Due To Rogue Nurse

In a rather sad development, it has emerged that Babes Wodumo only found out that her husband, Mampintsha, had died after the news broke out on social media.

Babes Wodumo was reportedly not informed about her husband’s passing; instead, she found out on social media just like everybody else.

According to Newsroom Afrika, one of the nurses in one of the wards where Mampintsha was admitted is the one that broke the news to certain people, and then the word got out that he had died.

The Kwaito star and the other half of Big Nuz died on 24 December at 40, a day before Christmas, after suffering a stroke last week.

Apparently, Mampintsha was supposed to be discharged on the same day that he died.

The day before he passed on, Mampintsha reportedly looked better, and his family was expecting him to get discharged the following day, but unfortunately, he passed on in the morning.

Everything looked well; they actually thought he will be discharged,” a Newsroom Afrika reporter revealed.

Meanwhile, social media users are unhappy that Babes Wodumo had to find out on social media that her husband had passed on. Tweeps have since called on the nurse to be fired and the hospital to be sued as they argued that what they did was unethical.

@Joburgspaces;

That nurse needs to be fired for not following protocol to set a good example to others so that we do not have such cases in future

@vee_manini;

The hospital must be sued. And the nurse must be charged. Just to set an example. People have no respect these days

@Sthembekile_k;

That nurse must be fired, and she must not be paid a cent of her benefits, it was not her place to announce his death, especially when his family & wife didn’t know about this.

@Nomadle1

The nurse should be ARRESTED, as that goes against the contract she had signed/oath she took. What happened to confidentiality?
