A Dream Close to His Heart

Speaking passionately about the project, Black Coffee shared, “This music college is a deeply personal project for me. We’ve already started holding meetings to bring this vision to life. The next step involves launching international fundraising campaigns, especially in places where I frequently perform. The funds will be instrumental in building this institution.”

The DJ emphasized the importance of creating opportunities for the younger generation, highlighting his commitment to giving back to the music community that has supported him throughout his career.

From Record-Breaking Performances to New Milestones

Reflecting on his past achievements, Black Coffee noted that he’s focused on new challenges. He recalled his 60-hour DJ set at Maponya Mall in Soweto, an extraordinary feat that pushed his physical and mental limits. However, he acknowledged, “I’ll never do that again—it was exhausting. Now, I aim for more manageable performances, like eight or 12-hour sets.”
