Black Coffee, Master KG Celebrates Millions On Spotify

Master KG continues to hit impressive milestones in the year of 2020. The latest one being that, as an artist, he accumulated a whole 140 million streams on Spotify this year.
The South African superstar, Master KG took to social media to show how grateful he was to all those who supported him and streamed his work on the platform in order to get him to the huge number.
“It’s been a great year. Managed to do 140 million streams on Spotify. Big thanks to everyone who made this possible. The excitement is just too much,” wrote the Limpopo based artist on his socials.
The 140 million streams were from 18.5 million listeners courtesy of his hit song Jerusalema and the song was listened to over a period of 9.6 million hours across 92 countries.
The streaming service sends yearly summaries to its users containing each person’s most-listened-to songs and artists. It’s become common practice for Spotify users to screenshot and post their summaries to social media to compare theirs with others’ results.
Moreover, Black Coffee is also in a celebratory mood after he saw the numbers he pulled on Spotify this year alone. The multi-talented DJ expressed his gratitude to his fans as they helped him reach 48.3 million streams across 92 countries worldwide.

The Spotify stats show that he was streamed almost 50 million times. Listeners played his music 3.7 million hours and he amassed a total of 7.4 million listeners worldwide.
