Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, Dillon Windvogel has steadily built an impressive career in the entertainment industry. He first gained recognition through his portrayal of Vernon Booysen in the popular kykNET & kie soap opera, Arendsvlei.

Dillon’s journey into acting began at Belhar High School, where he matriculated in 2017. That same year, he secured his first major role as Ashwin, a troubled teenager, in the dance drama series danZ! on kykNET & kie.
His talent quickly gained recognition, leading to a recurring role as Tackies in the 2018 drama series Sara se Geheim (Sarah’s Secret). Dillon also showcased his versatility in the short film Mr. The Fastest, a heartwarming comedy-drama about an ex-racer facing his past while guiding his daughter.
Breaking into the Global Stage with Blood & Water
The year 2020 marked a turning point in Dillon Windvogel’s career when he secured a role in the Netflix original series Blood & Water. The gripping mystery drama follows Puleng (portrayed by Ama Qamata) on a quest to uncover whether an elite private school’s star swimmer is her long-lost sister.
Dillon plays Wade Daniels, a loyal friend who helps Puleng navigate the mystery. The series premiered on May 20, 2020, reaching audiences in 190 countries and catapulting Dillon to international stardom.
