Claws are out in Celebville and this time its a war between Khanyi Mbau and Bonang Matheba.
A Sunday tabloid reported they learnt former Live presenter, Bonang Matheba, and etv show host, Khanyi Mbau don’t breathe the same air.
Sources said Khanyi has been bad-mouthing “Queen B”. A source said Khanyi, who is close to Bonang’s former BFF, Somizi Mhlongo, has nothing nice to say about Bonang. The looming catfight is said to have started last year when Bonang ended her friendship with Somizi after she allegedly blamed him for leaking stories about her.
According to the sources, “Somgaga” has found a new BFF in Khanyi. One source said: ” I don’t know why Khanyi hates Bonang. Bonang doesn’t mind her friendship with Somizi. It’s a pity Khanyi is fighting a battle she doesn’t know anything about. I think Somizi influenced her’.’
Another source said : ‘Khanyi sounds jealous. She gets low-paying jobs while Bonang makes millions.’ When reached for comment, Khanyi said , ‘I am not friends with Bonang. I don’t have celebrity friends for that matter’.
At Bonang’s PR company, Brand Three Sixty, Pumza Noashe said ; ‘Your query is not related to any work Miss Matheba is engaged in, but on gossip about alleged gossip. We don’t engage is such and neither does our client’
Somizi could not be reached for comment as his phone was on voicemail.
