Bonang To Assist 100 Families With Food Vouchers

Multimedia personality, Bonang Matheba, is calling out for any family that is in need to send her an e-mail so that she can assist with food vouchers.
Taking to Twitter, Bonang made the announcement around 10am this morninig,
“would love to assist 100 families this festive season with grocery vouchers… please send me an email with all their details.. Thank you! ❤.”
Social media users have since given her a thumbs up for taking the initiative especially during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic which has resulted in many families losing their source of income.
Those in need or that know of anyone or any family in need can send an e-mail to email@example.com so that they can be assisted.
Bonang is well known for her philanthropy earlier on in April she donated food vouchers worth R2 000 to 25 families.
In 2018 she became the first ever recipient of the 5 For Changemaker Award at the 5 For Change Black Tie Gala event that was held in Johannesburg.
The award was in recognition of her work as the founder of The Bonang Matheba Bursary Fund and for using her platform to advance social justice issues in South Africa and around the world.
According to Bonang the Bursary Fund, aims at providing 300 young ladies with tertiary education by the year 2025.
“I believe that when you educate a girl child, you actually educate a community and you educate a family,” said Bonang.
Apart from doing her own philanthropic work she often partners with other celebrities and corporates in doing charity work by assisting with food, toiletry and other necessities.
5 For Change is a non profit organisation, which hosts exclusive gala dinners to help beneficiaries that are making a difference in communities.
