Burna Boy concert promoter Gregory Wings’ charges have been dropped after the ill-fated concert. Meanwhile, his former business associate, Sedote Nwachukwu, faces serious allegations.

Last year, Nwachukwu was accused of defrauding a prominent entertainment company of R10 million while organizing the concert scheduled for September 23.

Gregory Wings Expresses Relief After Charges Were Dropped

In an interview with TshisaLIVE, Wings expressed his feelings of vindication but noted that his quest for justice remains incomplete.

“It’s vital to feel vindicated. However, I won’t find true closure until those who tricked me, falsely accused me, and attempted to tarnish my name are brought to justice.”

He continued, “My priority is to ensure that the real offenders face the repercussions of their actions. I remain determined to see that justice is served, preventing them from exploiting anyone else in the future.”

Looking to the Future

With the charges now behind him, Wings is focused on moving forward and expanding his business endeavours in South Africa and the United States.

“I am incredibly thankful for my supportive business partners and employees who have stood by me throughout this challenging period. Together, we will continue to strive towards providing Wi-Fi access across Africa through my collaboration with Figgers Communications.”

Wings is also dedicated to bringing world-class artists, including Drake, to South Africa, aiming to enrich the local cultural scene and boost the economy.

Confronting the Past

When asked about the last time he saw Sedote, Wings mentioned that he knows his whereabouts. He went on to share that Sedote is running away from the law. Wings asked Sedote to return to South Africa and face the law.

Wings emphasized that Sedote’s history of criminal activity, which includes arrests for forgery, fraud, and domestic violence, should not go unchallenged.
