Legendary rapper Busta Rhymes offered an R87k reward after an iPhone belonging to one of his entourage members was stolen in Sandton.
The incident happened on Saturday, hours after he performed at the DStv Delicious Festival.

Busta Rhymes revealed that one of his entourage members had her iPhone stolen during a night out at Liv, a club in Sandton, Johannesburg. The 52-year-old artist, visibly frustrated by the incident, even offered a R87k (US$5,000) reward for the return of the phone.
In a video shared on social media, Busta Rhymes publicly called out the alleged thief, who he claimed had taken the iPhone from a female companion in his entourage. The rapper, who has sold millions of albums worldwide, urged the person to return the device and encouraged them to act with integrity.
“US$5,000 (R87k) to the person who returns this lady’s iPhone. Please bring it back and do the honourable thing. Let’s represent the African people the way we are supposed to.”

As the video continued, Busta Rhymes appeared to grow more annoyed, making his frustration clear.
“I want that iPhone 12. F**k you. I’m not joking, either. I’m smiling because I’m happy,” he said, punctuating his demand with an expletive.
While the details remain unclear, it is yet to be confirmed whether the phone was returned.
Busta Rhymes, known for his energetic stage presence and chart-topping hits, is a frequent visitor to South Africa. However, the theft has cast a shadow over what was otherwise a celebratory weekend for the artist.
