Cassper Nyovest who was one of the people who attended Dj Sumbody’s memorial service struggled to hold back his tears as he bid farewell to his friend.
Speaking at the memorial service, Cassper Nyovest said that he is grateful to have had a friend like Dj Sumbody who he said was like a father and friend to him.
“He was an old soul, very grounded. It was sort of like you had a father and a friend in one person. He taught me a lot of things I didn’t know and a lot of things I had forgotten from my parents and I’m very grateful to have had a friend like that.”
Cassper Nyovest became inconsolable when he was faced with the reality of the loss of his friend. DJ Vetis and Junior Taurus who were on the podium with him had to console him.
He, however, managed to regain his composure and finished off his speech.
“He was one person you could always call, you could be brutally honest with him and he wouldn’t take offence. No matter how much you fought with him, he wouldn’t change how much he loved you.
“I’m going to miss you, I love you, my prayers go out to his family, his mom, his partner, his siblings, his business partners, his employees. I know you’re hurting but may God be with you,” concluded Cassper.

2022 has undoubtedly been a very difficult year for Cassper Nyovest and Mzansi is worried about his well-being. He has lost more than 2 close friends in less than a year.
He has since changed his Twitter profile picture to put a picture of himself with Dj Sumbody. All along he had put Rick Riky’s picture following his death early this year.
