Couple Flees with Baby After Being Caught Having Tlof Tlof in the Bush
A couple was caught in a compromising situation after abandoning their baby while engaging in tlof tlof in a bush near the Verulam Bus Rank in KwaZulu-Natal.
According to reports from Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA), officers were called to the scene on Ireland Street after receiving information about a crying baby found in a dense bush between the R102 and the bus rank.

Couple Flees Upon Discovery
Upon arrival at approximately 11:17 AM, RUSA officers met with the caller who had initially heard the infant’s cries. Assuming the child had been abandoned, the concerned individual contacted the RUSA Operations Centre before entering the bush.
To their shock, they found the baby on the ground, with a couple engaged in tlof tlof just a few meters away. When the officers announced their presence, the pair hastily grabbed the child and fled onto the R102.
Search for the Couple Proves Unsuccessful
Reaction officers attempted to track down the fleeing couple but were ultimately unsuccessful. Their current whereabouts remain unknown.
Authorities have not provided further details on the condition of the baby or whether any action has been taken to locate the individuals involved.
