Crowd Scrambles for Cover as Shebeshxt Pulls ‘Gun’ During Live Performance
Controversial musician Shebeshxt is back in the spotlight for causing a scene at Fish Eagles Pub in Ramaphosa, near Boksburg, Ekurhuleni. Patrons scrambled for safety after he allegedly pulled out what appeared to be a gun and fired shots into the air.
The commotion began when a patron splashed alcohol at Shebeshxt while he was performing on stage. Witnesses say the musician responded by opening a small bag, pulling out what looked like a firearm, and firing into the air, sending the crowd into a panic.
In a video shared by music promoter King Dinger, Shebeshxt is seen reacting to the incident
“So, I booked Shebeshxt this past Saturday, and he pulled a gun on stage because someone in the crowd was splashing him with booze,” King Dinger wrote in a WhatsApp group message.
The footage, viewed by Sunday World, shows the Ambulance hitmaker performing while a significant amount of alcohol is thrown at him. Moments later, the crowd is seen screaming and diving for cover as he appears to fire shots.
Phuti Lester Nkoana, the owner of Fish Eagles Pub, disputed claims that a gun was fired during the event.
“It was not a gun; I don’t know what it is because we checked the structure afterwards and we did not see any damage on it,” Nkoana said.
He added that no one was injured during the incident, and he did not question Shebeshxt about what he fired.
