24-year-old Musawenkosi and 32-year-old Mpumelelo from Durban were arrested after being apprehended by the police on the run.
The duo are said to have concealed three human heads inside loaves of bread. The crushed skulls were packed inside plastics.
They sandwiched the heads in the bread and inscribed names and amount. While one of them had Nkosenye R20 000 written on it, the others had Buhleni R30000 and Lindiwe R10 000. They confessed that the heads were needed by a businessman who had ordered a hit on the murdered victims.
The resident police spokesperson Mr Cleopas Dhlamini had this to say
“This case is one of a very sensitive nature, so at this point we might need to keep all the details under a tight lid. We will notify the public in full when we have gathered all the evidence and brought all involved parties to book. ”
The criminal duo were grabbed on a roadblock driving a previously hijacked car. The identity of the businessman has not been revealed to the public but according to reports the police are ready to make an arrest.
