Pam spoke about her need for validation from others and the journey to confront her inner struggles.

The former member of the Coca-Cola Pop Stars Group 101 left the group in 2003 to pursue her acting career. Recently, in a candid social media post, the 39-year-old admitted her past desire to always be the centre of attention.

“I wanted everyone to look at me, and I made sure that everyone was looking at me. I was loud, and I was wearing obnoxious outfits. Everywhere I went, I made it a mission that I was going to get attention, even if I went to the shops for shopping,” Pam revealed.

Reflecting on her younger years, she acknowledged her excessive drinking habits:

“In my 20s, I was always drunk. I would go to work, and after work, I would go clubbing from Monday to Saturday.”

Pam attributed her behaviour to being thrust into fame at a young age after winning a singing competition at 17.

“I was a teenager, had money, was famous, and lived in a different city from my parents. I was basically living my best life at that point,” she recalled.

Describing her past actions as those of a “rock star,” Pam confessed to arriving late on set and being difficult to work with. Despite her behaviour, she expressed gratitude for not being fired, acknowledging the patience of her employers.

“It’s good to acknowledge and grow where you see where you have made mistakes. And obviously, I know where I made my mistakes. I am looking forward to getting older. I am looking forward to it, and I am so excited to get to know this different phase of my life.”
