DJ Sumbody Shooting Death Toll Rises To 3 As Bodyguard Dies
In a rather sad and tragic development, Dj Sumbody’s second bodyguard is reported to have died.
The Monate Mpolaye hitmaker DJ Sumbody, real name Oupa John Sefoka, died in November in Johannesburg after being shot by yet-to-be-identified gunmen.
Dj Sumbody was murdered along with his bodyguard, who was only identified as Sbu.

Following the tragic incident, it was also reported by the Sunday World that a third person, who was believed to be one of DJ Sumbody’s bodyguards, was in critical condition after miraculously surviving the barrage of bullets.
He was shot at while driving a BMW X5 just behind Dj Sumbody.

However, it has emerged that the unnamed bodyguard, who had been fighting for his life in the hospital following the incident, has since succumbed to his injuries.
The motive behind the murderous attack on DJ Sumbody and his entourage is still yet to be established. The police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
Meanwhile, Dj Sumbody’s family decided to honour him by having an all-white-themed memorial service. The all-white-themed memorial service was held at Lewende Woord in Centurion, Gauteng.

Guests wore white in honour of DJ Sumbody, who was meant to host an all-white party on the day he was shot and killed in Sandton.
Guests included friend and collaborator Cassper Nyovest, Carpo, Vettys, his business partner Kagiso Setsetse, Junior Taurus and Two Six, among many others.
Dj Sumbody was finally laid to rest on Saturday, 26 November, in Ga-Masemola, Apel Fourways Cross, in Limpopo.
