According to Shakes Mavundla, who also serves as Doc Shebeleza’s family spokesperson, the artist was moved out of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a private hospital in Johannesburg on Monday. The operation was deemed successful, and his current condition steadily improved.

“His sudden illness caught us off guard as he appeared perfectly healthy while preparing for the Aboguluva event in Soweto. However, we are optimistic about his recovery post-surgery,” Mavundla shared.

He further reassured fans by stating,

“Doc is doing well and remains in high spirits. He is still under medical observation, but there is a strong likelihood he will be discharged soon. This progress has lifted our spirits as a family.”
