Drake Disses Ice Spice In New Album?

Whenever Drake releases fans pay attention to the Canadian rapper/singer’s lyrics because he always drops subliminal shots at fellow rappers.

On Friday. Drake and Atlanta native 21 Savage dropped their first joint project Her Loss.

Drake appeared to reference up-and-coming rapper Ice Spice on the track Back Outside Boyz off the album. On one of the lines in question, October’s Very Own raps, “She a 10 tryna rap, its good on mute”.

While he did not mention Ice Spice by name, fans have speculated that the line is aimed at the Munch (Feelin’ U) rapper.

It would be no surprise that Drake is dissing Ice Spice given their history. Earlier this year, the Six God gave the New York City his co-sign and praised her breakout track Munch (Feelin’ U). Shortly after, Drake invited Ice Spice to OVO Fest 2022, where they were spotted hanging out together.

Fans thought the two were developing a strong friendship until they noticed Drake had abruptly unfollowed the young on Instagram, leading some to believe there was some kind of beef.

During an appearance on BET’s Rap City 22, Ice Spice discussed her short friendship with Drake as well as the unfollow on Instagram.

Ice Spice said she was not sure why Drake had unfollowed her on Instagram.

“He did [unfollow],” she admitted. “I don’t know why though.”

She added that there was no ill feeling on her part after the Honestly Never Mind singer unfollowed her.

In related news, Megan Thee Stallion fired off a series of tweets responding to Drake appearing to reference her allegedly getting shot by Tory Lanez on the new song Circo Loco off the joint album with 21 Savage.

On the lines in question, Drake raps, “This b**ch lie ’bout getting shots, but she still a stallion/She don’t even get the joke, but she still smiling.”

He doesn’t mention her by name, but even by making “shots” plural in an attempt to allude to butt injections, one can assume what his intention was.
