The Equatorial Guinea government has suspended Baltasar Bang Engonga over his 400 videos in which he was smashing people’s wives.
The Government also suspended every other officials found to have engaged in s_xual relations within ministry offices. This decision is part of the country’s “zero tolerance” policy aimed at maintaining ethical standards in public service.
The Man, The Myth, The Legend
Baltasar Ebang Engonga is the most trending man in Africa at the moment. He is the chief executive officer of Equatorial Guinea’s National Agency for Financial Investigation (ANIF), overseeing financial compliance and anti-money laundering efforts.
Baltasar would entice the women and have sessions with them, mostly in his office. He enjoyed recording the encounters, which he kept on his computer. However, 400 of his videos leaked and are wildly circulating on social media.

Baltasar’s list included the wives of several cabinet ministers, the wife of Equatorial Guinea’s Director of Presidential Security, the attorney general’s wife, the daughter of the Director General of Police, his godfather’s wife, his bodyguard’s wife, his younger sister’s 15 friends, his pastor’s wife, his uncle’s pregnant wife and his young brother’s wife.
After going viral for chowing 400 women, the Government has moved in swiftly and temporarily relieved him if his official duties for having trysts at his office.
Equatorial Guinea Government Suspends Baltasar Ebang Engonga
Equatorial Guinea Vice President Nguema Obiang Mangue underscored the seriousness of these actions in a recent post on X, highlighting that such behavior is a clear breach of the Code of Conduct and the Public Ethics Law.
He stated:
“Ethics and respect are fundamental in our Administration,” emphasising that irresponsible actions that erode public trust will not be tolerated.
The suspensions are seen as a decisive measure to promote a workplace that aligns with ethical principles and maintains the dignity of public service.
The initiative has garnered attention as a necessary action to restore faith in the public sector. As the government moves forward, it hopes to set a precedent that discourages any behavior that could undermine public trust.
