Baltasar Ebang Engonga, Director General of Equatorial Guinea’s National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF), has broken his silence for the first time after hundreds of videos of him being intimate with various women were leaked onto the internet.
The man at the centre of a scandal that reads like the script of a drama series has come out and tried to clear his soiled reputation.

Baltasar Ebang Engonga, like almost everyone else who has found themselves trending for an indiscretion these days, has blamed Artificial Intelligence (AI). He claims that the videos of him being intimate with the wives of government officials, relatives’ wives among many others, are AI-generated. Engonga claims that his enemies are working overtime to bring him down.
“I want to tell the People of Equatorial Guinea Those videos are AI edited , my enemies are trying so hard to bring me down,” Baltasar Ebang Engonga wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

After posting his first statement since trending after over 300 videos of him shagging different women in his office, outside and in various locations, social media erupted with a variety of reactions.
