Ex-Generations Actor Ronnie Nyakale Speaks On Life As A Bolt Driver
Nyakale told the Daily Sun:
“A passion sees no ‘what will people say? Fame is dangerous; it blinds and makes one live by satisfying the expectations of ‘abantu bazothini’ (what will people say). I know I’m famous, but I don’t want that to be stuck in my mind. My fame doesn’t put stories I want on the table; it’s those stories that have made me famous“, he reflected.
Nyakale revealed that his new venture allows him to connect with fans on a personal level.
“Meeting different people and listening to their stories kept me going. I love how I appear to them and give them a one-on-one opportunity to be with me. The love God gave me from far lands is so big. I’m so humbled, and I serve it in return,” he said.
Will He Return To Acting?
Despite embracing his role as a driver, Nyakale insists he isn’t stepping away from acting.
“I’m definitely not taking a break or stopping my acting career. There are things I want to do that aren’t an overnight thing to do,” he said.
He plans to explore opportunities with platforms like Netflix and Showmax and is eager to work with new production houses.
“Taking a break from Generations will allow me to risk myself to explore things I want to do,” Nyakale said.
The actor has also received overwhelming support from fans during this new chapter.
“I’ve seen extreme love and support from fans. I deeply appreciate it, am deeply touched, and so humbled,” he said.
