Failed Plans for a Second Wife
Before the whole drama, Hlophe had accused Bhengu of cheating on him. Before taking a serious decision, Hlophe asked Bhengu if he should cancel the lobola negotiations since he was ready to send his uncle to pay lobola. Bhengu did not hesitate and told Hlophe she was fine if the lobola negotiations did not continue.
In May, Hlophe announced that his wife Tracey, had given him the go-ahead to take Bhengu as a second wife.
