During the early hours of this morning and after months of intensive investigation by Drift Reaction cc Specialised Investigation Unit and the Iron Fist Squad the teams accompanied by Detectives Sam Manana and Bambiso from SAPS Muldersdrift pounced on a group of seven murderous, aggressive, dangerous and elusive suspects.
Drift Reaction cc had information that they were responsible for the serious and violent crime in and around Muldersdrift especially in the Nooitgedacht area.
While they were peacefully sleeping the teams paid them a visit at their respective homes to finally have a one on one chat with the gun wielding, “brave” and murderous cowards! Unfortunately only five of the gang were home. Two of the suspects have already been linked to the double murder in Video Squatter Camp two weekends ago. The victims also had a chance to identify them which they did!
Low and behold some loot from other murder and robbery scenes was also found in their possession. Since the arrest of the four housebreaking suspects by Drift Reaction teams as well as the community two weeks ago incidents have quieted down substantially and there might just be a link between the four arrested in Swartkops and the five arrested this morning.
All of them are Zimbabwean citizens and some of them have “prison tattoos”. They were all arrested inside Video Squatter Camp. The other two that were not home are on Drift Reaction cc “MOST WANTED TO CHAT WITH” list and after an hour or two’s sleep the teams are still at it to meet up with them.
More information was offered by the suspects and this will be followed up thoroughly. It is amazing how their bravery and arrogance just disappears into thin air when they have to answer to the law!
Well done to all Drift Reaction cc teams who work tirelessly to obtain information, who went scouting night after night, to Drift Reaction cc owner Jarques Treptow who spent in access of R30 000 on informers to obtain positive information and to the detectives of SAPS Muldersdrift who assisted and also showed how adamant they were to arrest them.

Drift Reaction cc promised the community of Muldersdrift that they will meet up with the suspect and once again they kept their promise.
The suspects will be thoroughly checked, fingerprinted, linked and will not be released.
