Nkosinathi Zwane, widely known as Mzambiya, officially quitS the music world. Although many fans believed he had left the industry a few years back, Mzambiya was on a brief break. During that time, he returned to the scene with a hit single, iMoto Ka Shukela, re-establishing himself as a Kwaito and Hip-Hop artist. Now, he has confirmed that his exit is permanent.

A Final Chapter for Mzambiya’s Music Career

Mzambiya, the driving force behind Earth Nurture Records, has decided to close the door on his music career for good. In a statement, he revealed,

“I am officially resigning from my position as a recording artist. After much reflection, I have chosen to pursue new avenues in my professional life.”

Despite his retirement from performing, Mzambiya assured fans that Earth Nurture Records will continue its mission of discovering and promoting new talent.

“We are still committed to nurturing fresh talent and delivering quality music, just as we’ve always promised,” he added.

In his farewell statement, he expressed heartfelt thanks to those who supported him over the years, saying,

“I am deeply grateful for all the love since my debut in 2000. The experiences I’ve had and the lessons I’ve learned in the entertainment world are invaluable. Thank you for the unwavering support and understanding throughout my career.”

Mzambiya burst onto the music scene in the early 2000s, captivating audiences with hits like Mele Senzeni and Jersey Number 10. As a native of Zola, Soweto, he quickly became one of the most prominent figures in the Kwaito genre, helping to shape and pioneer this unique South African sound.

Throughout his career, he achieved remarkable success, including a revelation a few years back that he had earned over R14 million in the past two decades from his music endeavours.
