Generations: The Legacy’s Mrekza Brings Hollywood To Limpopo

He is popularly known for his character as Mrekza on Generations: The Legacy and many have fallen in love with him on the small screen. He is full of ideas which he is currently implementing for the sake of development in his hometown, something which most celebrities love to do.

Recently, he announced that he has finally come through for Limpopo, his home province, with a new, first of its kind Limpopo film and TV studio.

His real name is Kope “Tswyza” Makgae and according to him, he says he is planning to bring Hollywood to Limpopo in as much as Limpopo will also get exposure to the world. On 20 November, the actor will officially be launching Wyza Media Studios in Polokwane.

The studio follows Wyza Media film academy he launched in Limpopo this January. The actor, rapper, and businessman is indeed street smart and a man of many talents.

His dream is to help groom those with talents and also see his people shine in the entertainment industry.

Speaking to Daily Sun, Generations: The Legacy’s Mrekza said he aimed this project would take Limpopo to another level in the TV and film spectrum. He said:

“There are many stories from Limpopo,but they’re filmed in other provinces because we don’t have the resources. That will soon change because Wyza Studios.

For example, we have the Kruger National Park and people come and film documentaries here. They can hire equipment from us. They don’t need to bring their own.

I basically want to uplift Limpopo and teach them about the film and TV industry, hence the school and now the studio. I want to encourage people and teach them about my journey, give those who don’t have access to information help. I also want to show people that I haven’t forgotten about where I come from.”
