Bride Collapses and Dies While Performing for Her Husband at Their Wedding

The bride Sorelle Manuella passed away suddenly during her wedding reception on Saturday, October 26, in Douala, Cameroon.
Surrounded by hundreds of guests, Sorelle collapsed while performing a song for her new husband, Emile, leaving friends, family, and her devastated husband in shock.
Sudden Collapse During Special Performance
The reception had been filled with excitement as Sorelle took the microphone to sing a heartfelt song dedicated to her husband. However, as she was performing, she suddenly collapsed, leading many attendees to believe it was part of the act.

Efforts to Save Her Were Unsuccessful
Sorelle was swiftly transported to two different hospitals, yet, tragically, doctors were unable to save her life. The initial reports suggest that she suffered a heart attack.

A Family Left to Mourn
Sorelle’s sudden passing leaves behind her husband, Emile, and their three young daughters, including an infant less than a year old. The tragic incident has resonated widely, with many expressing condolences and sorrow for the grieving family during this devastating time.

While rare, Sorelle’s death brings to mind another heartbreaking incident in 2008, where Kim Sjostrom, a bride from Florida, collapsed during the first dance at her wedding.
