A man who badly wanted a boy as his first born was recently arrested after his wife caught him trying to bury their daughter alive.
Abdul Hussein allegedly taped his daughter’s mouth and tied her hands before digging a pit in the back garden of the family home.
The horrid incident happened in India.

When Abdul’s wife returned home, he tried to conceal the little girl by placing a bamboo basket over her head, it is alleged.
His wife became suspicious and the little girl was eventually found by neighbours.
Abdul was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
NDTV reported the man disliked his daughter because ‘she was a girl’
