Makhadzi Charms Neighbouring Fans After Zimbabwean Roots
Multi-award-winning South African musician Makhadzi has charmed her Zimbabwean fans after embracing her Zimbabwean roots by proudly proclaiming that she is Zimbabwean.
Makhadzi charmed Zimbabweans after publicly declaring that she is proudly Zimbabwean in a Facebook post.
This does not come as a surprise Makhadzi has always expressed her love for Zimbabwe and everything Zimbabwean to the extent that her followers have always assumed that she has some Zimbabwean roots.

Zimbabweans took to the comment section and showered her with love and praise as they embraced her.
Makhadzi’s declaration that she is Zimbabwean barely a couple of days after she performed in Zimbabwe at a concert in Kadoma.
She also recently collaborated with Zimbabwean contemporary musician Jah Prayzah in a song titled Luvhone.
Meanwhile, South African musician Dj Tira is also another celebrity that had Zimbabweans charmed after he endorsed his Zimbabwean name.
Following his visit to Zimbabwe, his fans ended up getting confused about his nationality after some Zimbabwean jokesters edited the award-winning music producer’s Wikipedia Profile.
Part of the edited profile reads,
Dirarizare Marufu (born August 24, 1976), professionally known by his stage name DJ Tira, is a South African DJ, record producer and Kwaito artist.
Born in Chegutu, Tira relocated to Durban at the age of 3 in 1979. He is part of the collective that discovered the Gqom music genre.
His musical career began at the age of 20 in 1996; while attending NUST in Bulawayo and signed a record deal and released the compilation album Real Makoya in 2001.
Surprisingly, DJ Tira did not take offence, instead, he embraced his Zimbabwean name and appeared to endorse it.
The award-winning producer took to Instagram, where he shared a photo of the edited Wikipedia page showing his Zimbabwean name.
Captioning the image, he wrote;
“Say hello to Mr Marufu.”
Now and again Dj Tira proudly refers to himself as Mr Marufu
