Idols SA 2022 Winner Thapelo Receives Major Boost From Makhadzi & Master KG
Master KG and his bae Makhadzi have expressed interest in working with Idols SA 2022 winner Thapelo Molomo.
In separate posts, the power couple took to their social media and congratulated Thapelo on winning Idols SA 2022. After congratulating Thapelo, Makhadzi and Master KG expressed interest in making new music with Thapelo.
Coincidentally, during the finale, Thapelo performed Master KG and Makhadzi’s Di Boya Limpopo as his showstopper.
In his response to a suggestion posted by Idols SA on its official Twitter page that he should do a track with Thapelo after his performance of Di Boya Limpopo, Master KG affirmed that they need to work on something. Master KG said:

In a post on her official Facebook page, Makhadzi congratulated Thapelo on winning Idols SA 2022. She jokingly added that it is unfortunate that her new album African Queen 2.0 is already out as she would have added a song featuring Thapelo.

Makhadzi’s fans took to the comments section and urged her to record a single with Thapelo. It remains to be seen if the Milandu Bhe singer will take her fans’ advice and record a song with the Idols SA 2022 winner.
On Sunday, Thapelo emerged as the winner of Idols SA season 18 while Nozi Sibiya was the season’s runner-up.
In addition to the Idols SA season 18 crown, Thapelo walks away with an impressive prize haul: just over R1 million cash made up of R350,000 in a Standard Bank MyMo account, R300,000 from Spotify and R350,000 from Mzansi Magic.
He will have access to a Standard Bank wealth manager who will helpfully advise him on how to spend his prize money. He also won a Toyota Starlet; a fashion voucher from Truworths and his live show outfits, all to the value of R100,000; R85,000 worth of musical equipment from Yamaha; and a recording contract with Kalawa Jazmee Records.
