Social media personality Inno Morolong has been found guilty in the case Tebogo Thbejane has had against her for over a year. The highly publicized fallout between social media personality Inno Morolong and actress Tebogo Thobejane appears to be reaching its conclusion.
Allegations and Accusations
The animosity between Inno and Tebogo escalated when Inno accused Tebogo of engaging in an affair with a president. Inno made these explosive claims during an Instagram Live session, alleging that the former Muvhango actress had inappropriate relationships while travelling abroad with her friends. She even went so far as to recount private details about Tebogo’s personal life, including claims about a threesome and criticisms of her intimacy.
These allegations didn’t go unnoticed. Tebogo, feeling that her reputation was under attack, sought legal recourse and filed charges against Inno. The accusations became a turning point in their deteriorating friendship, pushing the dispute from social media platforms to the courtroom.
Restraining Orders and Arrests
The legal battle intensified earlier this year when Inno was arrested for violating a restraining order filed by Tebogo. According to reports, Tebogo feared for her safety after an alarming incident in which unidentified individuals allegedly shot at her vehicle. Although there was no direct link to Inno in the shooting, the tension between the two former friends continued to escalate.
These developments led Tebogo to express her concerns publicly, claiming that the ongoing feud had taken a significant toll on her mental health and safety. Inno, however, continued to deny wrongdoing, maintaining her innocence even as the case gained momentum.
Guilty Verdict and Next Steps
In a statement to the media, National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson Phindi Mjonondwane confirmed that Inno Morolong was found guilty on both charges against her. “The accused has been found guilty on both counts. The matter will return to court on January 14, 2025, for the mitigation and aggravation of the sentence,” said Mjonondwane.
