SAPS has issued an angry response against social media users after a viral video showed Vosloorus police fighting rats at the station.

In the hilarious video, the cops are in a chaotic battle against several rats that have infested the station’s kitchen. They chase the rodents, while others scream and stay far away out of fear.
One cop was by the door, trying to stomp the rats whenever they tried fleeing using the entrance. The officer behind the camera was cracking his ribs with laughter in the background.
All the cops had left their desks to chase the rats away, but the little creatures were too swift and evasive. Dirt, a supermarket trolley, chairs, and even bins were strewn all over the room as the officers fought the giant rats.

SAPS React Sternly To The Video Of Vosloorus Police Fighting Rats
Gauteng Police spokesperson Brigadier Brenda Muridili has spoken on the incident, and the guys at the top are not taking the video lightly. She told the Daily Sun that members of the public should stop posting misleading content:
“That post is false and misleading. Vosloorus Police Station does not have a rodent problem. The station follows an annual maintenance plan, which includes pest control, to ensure that members work in a healthy and conducive environment.”
