Joseph “Tight” Molangoane Dismissed From Club For “Not Washing His Kit”

Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) has confirmed that it has parted ways with three high profile players before they even kicked the ball.

One of the players who are affected is former Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates star midfielder, Joseph “Tight” Molangoane after he reportedly refused to wash his own kit.

He suffered the same fate which befell his friend and former Orlando Pirates superstar Oupa Manyisa. The other player released by the club is Gustavo Paez, who the club argued is still contracted to Mineros de Guayana Soccer Club back in South America.

According to the Sunday World, Molangaone was accused of sowing discord after he allegedly refused to wash his own kit, something which the club hierarchy did not take well.

According to other sources, the real reason TTM dumped Molongaone and Manyisa is that the club was regretting the high salaries, it had agreed to pay them.

A source who spoke to the publication said,

“The club is not doing well financially and signing those big salaries for Joseph and Oupa was a big miscalculation. The club saying Molangoane is a bad apple is just a way to get rid of him because they are finding it difficult to honour their contracts.

“How do you expect players to wash their own kit, this is not acceptable. Tight has not played a single game since the season started. He was told that he must sign a termination of his contract, and only then he will get his September and October salaries. They informed him that he was not registered with the PSL and because of that, his contract was null and void,” added the informant.

TMM have been accused of not paying players’ salaries as well as operating like a spaza shop after also failing to nail down former Chippa United head coach Norman Mapeza to a contract. Mapeza abruptly left the club without taking charge of a single match.
