Siyabonga Gumede has become the latest Amakhosi player to leave Naturena.
The academy graduate follows several teammates who have already moved on during a busy transfer period.
The defender’s exit means Chiefs have now released or moved on seven players.

Amakhosi departures spread across local and international clubs
Aden McCarthy became the first player to leave the club.
The defender secured a move to Azerbaijan Premier League champions Sabah FC.
His transfer happened before Fernando Da Cruz officially took charge at Kaizer Chiefs.
After McCarthy’s departure, Chiefs also parted ways with George Matlou and Happy Mashiane.
Matlou later joined Stellenbosch FC as he continued his career away from Naturena.
Meanwhile, Mashiane trained with the Cape Winelands club but failed to secure a contract.
The former Amakhosi winger is currently searching for a new team.
Goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari also left the club temporarily.
The Rwanda international joined newly promoted Betway Premiership side Kruger United on loan.
The move will provide him with more opportunities for regular first-team football.
Tashreeq Morris then completed his switch to Durban City.
The transfer came as little surprise after reports linked him with the KwaZulu-Natal club.
Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Gastón Sirino followed Morris to Durban City.
The Uruguayan reunited with former Chiefs coach Khalil Ben Youssef at the club.
Ben Youssef has now added both Morris and Sirino to his squad.
However, Gumede’s exit has attracted less attention compared to other departures.
The Kaizer Chiefs academy product reportedly joined Richards Bay ahead of the 2026/27 Betway Premiership season.
The DStv Diski Challenge captain will now continue his development with the KwaZulu-Natal side.
