In an Instagram post that captured the attention of fans and media alike, Khumalo shared her achievement on social media, wearing traditional Zulu attire adorned with feathers and invoking her journey into spiritual healing.
Captioning the picture, Kelly Khumalo announced that she is now a certified healer.

A Journey Fifteen Years in the Making
During an appearance on Ukhozi FM’s Vuka Afrika Breakfast Show with Mroza Buthelezi, Khumalo reflected on her long path to becoming a traditional healer, describing it as a journey of personal discovery spanning 15 years.
“After 15 years of searching and trying to figure out who I am, today I’m finally graduating, and am a certified inyanga,” she shared.
Kelly Khumalo further emphasized that her calling is unique, explaining,
“Mine is different. It’s not just traditional healing but a universal gift. It’s not only focused on black people, but it’ll go all over the world. That’s why it took longer for me to even figure it out, gogo.”
She noted that her training has been multifaceted, involving spiritual preparation in various settings including water, nature, prayer, and ancestral roots.
“I was trained four to five times, but today is the first time I’m graduating as inyanga,” she added, describing the significance of her heritage in guiding her journey.
