Kelly Khumalo Celebrates The Success Of Her Hit Song Empini

Multi-talented songstress and music composer, Kelly Khumalo is celebrating the success of her song Empini.

The song which is from her recent album Voice of Africa has been topping afro-pop music charts in recent weeks.

“Hhayi lokhu engigeza ngathi kuyasebenza angiqinise. #EMPINI no.1 afro-pop/soul song in SA for the sixth time,” wrote Kelly on her Instagram wall.

The album holds 8 amazing tracks as she speaks boldly about the Voice of Africa in her tracks. Her decade-old career has proved her versatility and consistency in the industry. Appearing as features in the album, she includes Mondli Ngcobo and Hlengiwe Mhlaba in the album as they held the 6th and 8th tracks respectively.

In addition, Kelly who is basking in glory also announced that her gin which she released in March titled Controversy Gin By Kelly Khumalo had acquired gold status.

The gin which goes for R1 600 is only available at Makro outlets throughout the country.

Moreso, the Controversy gin by Kelly Khumalo is said to be a locally produced premium six times distilled superior quality gin infused with a perfect balance of eight botanical ingredients that dare to bring out the untamed side of life. 

Last year, Thabo Molefe aka T-Bo Touch, launched 48 Gin that celebrates African Excellence and singer, Joao da Fonseco aka J’Something launched Jin Gin as he wanted to create a high-quality gin that had something new and interesting to offer the market, not just another celebrity gin.
