‘Social media donors’: Kelly Khumalo Drags Jub Jub in Blistering Father’s Day Message
South African singer Kelly Khumalo used Father’s Day to fire off a pointed message that many believe was aimed at her ex and baby daddy, Jub Jub.
Without mentioning names, the Bazokhuluma hitmaker unleashed a scathing rebuke of absentee fathers in a TikTok video posted on Sunday, 15 June 2025.

“Not Social Media Dads”: Kelly Speaks Her Mind
With biting sarcasm, Kelly Khumalo began her video saying:
“It’s Father’s Day. Us fathers are celebrating the fruits of being fathers, not social media dads who are gladly not dads.”
She continued by targeting men who, according to her, claim fatherhood online but are largely absent in their children’s real lives.
“Social media donors who are only fathers online, when there’s barely a trace of their existence in their children’s lives. Their excuse is, ‘The mother doesn’t want me to see the child.’ Are you serious?”
“Take Her to Court”: Kelly Urges Accountability
Kelly challenged the popular excuse often used by absentee dads, bluntly urging them to take action instead of playing victim.
“Take her to court,” she said, implying that a man truly interested in his child’s life wouldn’t be stopped by co-parenting issues.
Social Media Reacts
The video quickly made its way to X (formerly Twitter), where it sparked criticism. Netizens accused her of stirring unnecessary drama or deflecting from her own parenting controversies.
