Unanswered calls: Kelly Khumalo Shuts Out Senzo Meyiwa’s Family, Denies Access to Beloved Daughter
The family of Senzo Meyiwa, the former Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates footballer who was tragically murdered in 2014 is seeking a relationship with his daughter.
However, they claim that Kelly Khumalo, Meyiwa’s former girlfriend and the mother of their daughter, has denied them access since his death.
The Family’s Attempts to Reach Out
Speaking to eNCA, Sifiso Meyiwa revealed that the family has made several attempts to contact Kelly Khumalo and establish a relationship with Senzo Meyiwa’s daughter Thingo.
However, their efforts have been met with unresponsiveness and lack of cooperation from Kelly Khumalo. Thingo was just a few months old when Senzo Meyiwa was tragically killed in 2014.
Sifiso explains that they had only seen Senzo Meyiwa’s daughter when he was still alive, and since his passing, they have been unable to connect with her.
“We saw her for the first time when Senzo was still alive. Kelly’s mother and Senzo brought her home. We would love to see her, and have a relationship with her.”
Despite their persistent attempts to call Kelly Khumalo, she never answers their calls.
“We’ve tried many times to call Kelly but she never answers our calls. After Senzo died, our sister, Nokuthula tried calling Kelly, but she never answers,” Sifiso added
