It seems controversial Durban healer Zamokwakhe “Bhaka” Nzama has been given a taste of his own muti by his wife, Jabu Mzobe. In a separation that seems to be going sour for the couple, Sowetan reports that Bhaka has finally left his wife and is now engaged to Noluthando Mbatha, a young woman from Pietermaritzburg – news he confirmed to the paper.
Bhaka’s recent marital problems reportedly started when his wife found out a few months ago that he had been cheating on her again with his now fiancée, leading to endless arguments and Mzobe moving out of their mansion in Kloof, one of Durban’s suburbs.
However, in a turn of events, Mzobe has also been accused of cheating with her ex-boyfriend who lives in Joburg. This apparently came out during one of the couple’s arguments. A close friend of Mzobe reportedly told the paper she had been travelling to Joburg a lot, until Bhaka “caught her out”. Mzobe has denied the cheating rumours but admitted to travelling to Joburg, but said the trips were not to meet her ex-boyfriend. However, she did not elaborate on why she went to Joburg frequently.
This is not the first time Bhaka has been embroiled in a cheating scandal. Last year, the healer was linked to singer Kelly Khumalo – the woman he accused of pushing, shoving and poking him in the eye because she wanted him to leave his wife.
Nzama had alleged that this occurred a few hours before the Metro FM Awards ceremony on February 28 this year.
Speaking to The Citizen, Nzama spoke about the pain his wife had endured as a result of his love affair with Khumalo, but shied away from going into details of the nature of his relationship with the singer, particularly the physical confrontation he had had with her in a Durban hotel.
“I’m grateful to my beautiful wife for being brave while I was doing all these things. At times I would leave home on the pretext of going to the nearby shop, but only to drive to the airport and take a flight to Johannesburg. But despite all these things, she remained strong and refused to give up on our relationship,” he said.
He also spoke of his wedding plans for Mzobe, but refused to go into detail about the “big plans”. We guess those will not be happening anymore since the couple have finally called it quits.
