KZN Man Seeks Refuge at RUSA Security HQ After Tlof Tlof Worker Stalks Him, Accusing Him of Short-paying for Her Services
In a dramatic turn of events, a 50-year-old man from Verulam, KwaZulu-Natal had to seek protection from Reaction Unit South Africa security officers after being accused of short-paying a tlof tlof worker.
The tlof tlof worker reportedly stalked the man demanding payment for her services.
The incident, led to intervention by Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) as the man fled to their headquarters seeking protection and assistance.
Allegations of Short Paying Tlof Tlof worker
According to RUSA, the man claimed he was confronted by a 24-year-old tlof tlof worker and her associates while walking home from work in the Verulam CBD.
The female accused the male of short-paying for her services and demanded payment
The woman alleged that he had booked a “full house package” for R300 but paid only R100. She further accused him of leaving under the pretense of buying food, only to disappear without returning with either the meal or the remaining balance, IOL reveals.

Client Denies Owing Money
The man, who admitted to regularly engaging the services of thigh vendors in the area, denied owing any money. He claimed the accusations were a tactic to extort money from him, alleging that the tlof tlof worker had embarrassed him in public to pressure him into paying additional amounts.
The man claimed he had already paid R50 on three separate occasions after being publicly confronted by the tlof tlof worker in the past month.
“The Verulam – KZN resident informed Reaction Officers that the female extorted cash from him on three occasions since last month. He alleged that the female accused him of utilising her services and then short paying,” the security firm said.
Resolution Achieved After Negotiations
Following negotiations, the tlof tlof worker agreed to waive the alleged debt, putting an end to the confrontation.
