Lasizwe In ‘Fake Mourning’ Storm

Social media influencer, Lasizwe has been hit by a wave of criticism after he posted some images of himself mourning his father as he was being buried.

After the photos were posted which quickly went viral, some accused he of using the opportunity to gain relevance and for clout.

Many people felt he should have kept the images to himself and not post them on social media.

The wave of accusations were triggered when Lasizwe wrote a sincere message with a couple of photos saying Rest in peace to his dad. He wrote : RIP Dad, till we meet again… tell my mom I said I’ll be okay, thank you for raising a dynamite!

Tweeps were however not the least impressed or empathetic by the photos. They accused him of giving the camera man instructions to take the best “crying” photos. Below are some Twitter reactions.
