Lebo Keswa’s Explosive Rant Against Actor Sello Maake kaNcube Sparks Controversy
Business mogul Lebo Keswa has recently lashed out at acclaimed South African actor Sello Maake kaNcube in a heated dispute that has quickly gained public attention.
The conflict stems from Maake kaNcube’s decision to sever his professional connections with Keswa and actress Liopelo Maphathe, leading to a backlash from Keswa, who voiced her frustrations in an intense exchange.

Sello Maake kaNcube Cuts Ties, Citing Brand Concerns
According to reports, Maake kaNcube instructed his wife, public relations specialist Pearl Mbewe, to avoid working with Keswa and Maphathe. He expressed concerns about his brand image, prompting Mbewe to withdraw from representing the two women.
When Keswa inquired about the sudden decision, Pearl Mbewe shared that it was at Maake kaNcube’s insistence, further revealing his text message that stated,
“I don’t want to be associated with them… That is Lebo and Liopelo.”
In his message, Maake kaNcube appeared to address Keswa’s use of expletives in a past interview regarding her split from former partner, actress Letoya Makhene.
“My rise to fame didn’t come by shouting expletives. I worked for it,” he reportedly wrote, implying a desire to distance himself from Keswa’s public persona.
Lebo Keswa’s Fiery Response and Allegations
Angered by Maake kaNcube’s stance, Keswa launched into a lengthy tirade against the actor, she labelled him a narcissist and an abuser.
She accused him of ingratitude and alleging that she had provided him with both emotional and financial support.
Whatever you do in life, don’t f**k with me, a se nna Pearl or any of the women you’ve abused in your life. You’re narcissistic and manipulative… I have done nothing but be good to you in life – things you have conveniently forgotten I’ve done for you.
In text messages she reportedly sent to him, Keswa claimed she had helped him during difficult times, offering financial assistance, groceries, and meals at her restaurant free of charge.
“I’ve bought you groceries; I’ve given you a 10k loan, to say the least, that I wrote off because you were going through sh*t,” she wrote.
Keswa did not hold back, further accusing Maake kaNcube of manipulative behavior and alleging a pattern of using people only to abandon them once his situation improved.
“I’ve stood up for you countless times with women who’s (sic) lives I’ve now realised you’ve f**up and at this stage I’m going to stand up for all of them so that society can see you for who you truly are. Using people and their resources only for you to turn your back on them when you get a few cents because you call yourself a brand (sic),” she asserted, voicing her disappointment at what she perceived as betrayal.
Maake kaNcube Denies Keswa’s Claims
In response, Maake kaNcube has denied Keswa’s allegations of financial aid and support, challenging her to present evidence of her claims.
He dismissed the accusations as attempts to disparage him, saying,
“She says this because I don’t want my brand to be associated with her.”
The actor maintained that his choice to distance himself was purely a professional decision focused on his brand’s integrity.
