The Lekompo music community has been plunged into mourning following the death of rising artist Juddy Malekere, affectionately known as Juddy Malekere 99.
He passed away on Saturday night, 15 November, leaving fans and fellow artists in shock.

Death Linked to Earlier Polokwane Crash
Although official confirmation on the cause of death is still pending, widespread reports suggest that Malekere’s passing may be connected to a head-on collision that occurred three weeks ago at the intersection of Grobler and Magazyn Streets in Polokwane.
The same accident claimed the life of driver Vincent Maphopha, who was laid to rest last weekend, and left another Lekompo star—Melita “Kharishma” Mogale—hospitalized.
