South African media personality Lerato Kganyago has spoken out against a man who has been harassing her for over a year, persistently demanding to see his child despite no such child existing.
The man, known on X, formerly Twitter as Twala Bonga, has shared videos and publicly expressed his desire to be involved in the child’s life.
Bonga reached out to Lerato Kganyago on X, writing,
“@Leratokganyago Hi Lerato Kganyago, I still haven’t received any response from you. Or is it better if we handle things formally and take the legal route? I want to see my child.”
He posted a video and captioning it, he wrote;

Initially considering it a joke, the radio personality soon realized the seriousness of the situation when the harassment continued for a year.

Expressing her frustration, Kganyago took to social media, stating,
“At first, I thought this was a joke. A year later, this is still happening. I hope your family gets you all the help you need because I just have 2 dogs!” She clarified that she has no children with anyone, yet the man persists in demanding his child from her.
Seeking resolution, Kganyago reached out to her followers, appealing for help in identifying the man. She revealed that she has been subjected to harassment through phone calls, at her workplace, and even through her colleagues.
“I know this is a serious problem, and I pray your family sees this and assists you!” she tweeted.
The radio personality emphasized the discomfort caused by the man’s actions, reiterating her lack of any child and stating,
“I just have dogs papa. Please get help. You’ve made my life extremely uncomfortable. I hope you get all the help you need.”
