Makhadzi Bags A Role On Muvhango

Singer Makhadzi always sets the stage on fire with her electrifying performances.

This time Muvhango viewers will get to experience the same when she ushers them into the New Year.

The singer told Daily Sun she’s looking forward to performing for the soapie’s viewers, cast and crew. She’ll have a cameo role and performing at an event during a scene.

She said:

“I look forward to performing on the show tomorrow and, most importantly, to usher them into the New Year, which I’m hoping will be better than this year.
I have some friends who’re on the show, so performing there is going to be fun. She said although she’s had a dramatic year, she’s looking forward to what the New Year will bring.

“I know I’ve been making headlines this year because of the drama with my former manager, but I’ll dust myself off and focus on my music. I have fans who support my music,” said Makhadzi.

Recently, the Matorokisi hitmaker opened up a pandora’s box which has now seen her ex-manager Rita Dee being put on the spotlight for failing to remunerate her.

According to the 24-year-old Limpopo based songstress, Rita Dee didn’t pay her the money they made with her previous album Matorokisi including the royalties. Makhadzi wrote on her Twitter page.

“The only thing I did was ask my money from my ex-manager from my previous album Matorokisi and money for my royalties, what she did was to claim my money and delete all my videos from YouTube including Riyavenda with 10 million views and Matorokisi with 8 million views. I didn’t get a cent from my album. I paid my Picanto car she doesn’t want to change ownership names. If I can die tomorrow everything is under her meaning I was born to be a slave. She’s not answering my calls, she blocked me.”

Many artists have been lamenting over the same issues including artists like A-reece, Emtee and Fifi Cooper who have since left their former recording label, Ambitious Entertainment to pursue their music careers independently.
