Makhadzi Begins Physiotherapy After Car Accident, Promises Strong Comeback
Multi-talented singer Makhadzi has shared a hopeful update on her recovery after being discharged from hospital following a car accident late last year.
She was involved in a crash while travelling from Limpopo to Johannesburg on Wednesday, 31 December 2025.
Despite the setback, the energetic performer says she is focused on healing and returning stronger.

Physiotherapy Marks New Recovery Phase
In a video she shared on her Instagram account this week, Makhadzi revealed that she has begun physiotherapy as part of her recovery journey.
“My physio started attending to me yesterday,” she wrote. “But I am coming back. I am healing. Coming back strong soon.”
The singer expressed gratitude for the progress she has made so far and remains optimistic about her health.
Doctor Orders 10-Week Break From Performing
Makhadzi also disclosed that her doctor has advised her to take a 10-week break from performing to allow her injuries to heal properly.
“Considering all the injuries, I will have to remain at home care for 10 weeks without performing,” she said.
She added that her family will be assisting her during the recovery period following her discharge from hospital last week.
New Music in the Works Despite Setback
Even while resting, Makhadzi has already returned to the studio in spirit, revealing that she has started recording new music from home.
“Few weeks left. I recorded this song last night. I was feeling lonely. Keep sending me beats,” she wrote, promising fans fresh music once she fully recovers.
The singer also thanked fans for their overwhelming support, saying their messages have played a key role in lifting her spirits.
“I am slowly recovering well, trusting the process. I thank God for protecting my voice,” she said.
